Recommend a Friend FAQ

• Do I have to be registered to be entitled to receive the £50?
No, you don’t personally have to be registered with Michael Boyd to be able to recommend a friend. You do however need to ensure you provide your email address in the recommend a friend form, so that we can contact you, should we find permanent employment for your recommended friend. 
• When do I actually receive the £50?
Only once we have found your recommended friend permanent employment and they have remained in the position for 3 months will we send you your reward. Unfortunately, if your friend leaves the new employment within 3 months, we are obliged to refund our client and therefore can only pay you once the rebate period with our client is over.
• Do I need to contact you in 3 months to claim my reward?
No, we have a system that tells us when your reward is due, and will contact you at the time. However, if you believe your reward is overdue, please feel free to contact jill.weekes@michaelboyd.co.uk
• What happens if the person I recommend is already on your books?
Unfortunately, the recommend a friend is only valid for a candidate we don’t already have on our system.
• Is there a time limit by when they need to get permanent employment through you, in order for me to receive my reward?
No. We understand it can sometimes take time before the right position arises, so no matter when your recommended friend gets a permanent position, you will still receive your reward.
